Everything prepped up for the big day on 3rd May for Muzika Melbourne 2013. Several of the committee members went to the Tullamarine airport the day before to welcome the featured artists for this year’s Muzika, Aizat Amdan, Amir Jahari and ‘Go Gerila!’ upon their arrival. They came in pax, with their crew along, Kasi Gegar Entertainment. Jet-lagged and tired despite the travel made all the way from Malaysia, everyone called it a night before going all-out for tomorrow’s event.
The affair marked another epoch of flourishing and noteworthy event from KUAM. People and students from all across Melbourne and its vicinity came for the occasion at Second Chapter, 159, Sackville Street, Collingwood bringing their friends along to watch the contestants and featured Malaysian artists perform. Light refreshments were sold by the place’ provider with soft drinks and delicious nachos. The crowd’s spirit were further uplifted by two of our committee members, Alia Zaba and Wan Adam Kamaruddin, the hosts for 2013’s Muzika.
Sungai Lui, Emotions and Pergi by Aizat Amdan ended it all. The melancholy mood from the song ‘Pergi’ was swept over the crowd before the hosts announced their appreciation to everyone else who attended and made it successful in behalf of of the committee members and partners. It was a truly fun night to ended with before the start of the weekend the day after.
